Forest School

Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.

Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and compliments the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.

During Term 1, Year 1 attended Forest School for six weeks. Term 2 is Forest School time for Year 5. We have already learnt the best and safest way to make fires and we have toasted chestnuts on an open fire too (sounds like a good opening line for a Christmas song, doesn't it?). There are still many more adventures to be had...
