Our Illness Polices and Procedures

Given that children work and play nearby, germs can spread quickly. To help prevent this, we follow infection control guidance issued by the Public Health Agency. This guidance outlines the recommended time children should remain at home following illness. Specifically, it advises that children should not return to school until 48 hours have passed since the last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea.

On this page, you, as a parent/carer, will find helpful information to guide you in deciding whether your child is well enough to attend school.
